The Project
Impressions from the project process
Tunnel formwork carriage on the basis of the VARIOKIT civil engineering construction kit for the six additional concreting sections at the southern portal carried out parallel to the construction of the main tunnel elements.
Five tunnel elements - each 100 m long – were pre-fabricated in the dry dock with help of the PERI tunnel formwork carriage.
PERI engineers developed two customized special carriages which allowed the construction of the 28 concreting sections, each 20 m long, in regular six-day cycles.
The PERI formwork solution took into consideration two different sealing versions for the element and casting joints in the stopend formwork.
