PERI solution

  • VARIO GT24 formwork with SB Frames and VARIOKIT system were employed to construct the hammerheads. Unlike a typical application, we employed the frames as a platform, creating a unique design for the intricate shape of the hammerhead.

  • Once the central hammerhead had been completed, the platform was reused for the pier tables. Sequenced construction avoided the accumulation of vertical forces; ensuring a safer, more manageable process.

  • Once the lower pylons and hammerheads had been completed, the central pier table and three different-sized pylons were constructed.

  • With the south pylon rising to 125m high, the ACS and custom formwork platforms were on hand to combat the challenging wind speeds.
