Construction of 13 large diameter shafts

Installation of 4.5km of tunnels, 9km of rising main, screens chamber, pumping station and outfall to stop wastewater flowing into the River Ribble during heavy storms

Requirements

To form a concrete liner in a shaft of 25.80m in diameter and 36m deep

Curved and straight formwork required plus access to/from surface to bottom of shaft
